The Office of Outdoor Research is the landscape architecture and research office of Alexander Robinson. oOR Landscape operates with the belief that rigorous explorations of dynamic landscape cultural / material processes engenders a higher performance practice of landscape architecture. The practice operates in multiple scales and modes, ranging from strategic research and dissemination to built projects.
Alexander Robinson is Assistant Adjunct Professor in the Masters of Landscape Architecture Program at University of Southern California. He has practiced widely in Los Angeles on a range of projects and scales. He is also the co-author of the book, Living Systems: Innovative Materials and Technologies in Landscape Architecture.
He is also the director of the Landscape Morphologies Lab (lmlab.org) a collaborative research entity focused on exploring the intersection between landscape form and performance.
